LGPL COMPLIANCE NOTICE
for "The"

This document is distributed with "The". It sets out your rights in respect of
the free software libraries used by the Software, how to obtain their source
code, and how to replace them with your own builds.

This document is provided in English and Russian. The English version is set
out first.

1. WHAT THIS SOFTWARE USES

"The" (the "Software") incorporates the Qt toolkit, version 6.11.1, used under
the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 ("LGPLv3"), and
libgit2, version 1.9.3, used under the terms of the GNU General Public License
version 2 with a linking exception.

Qt is linked DYNAMICALLY. The Qt shared libraries are distributed as separate,
unencrypted files alongside the application executable and may be replaced by
you.

The complete list of third-party components distributed with the Software,
together with their licences, is set out in the accompanying
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file. The full licence texts are in the "licenses"
directory of this distribution, including the texts of the LGPLv3 and of the
GPLv3 which it incorporates by reference.

2. WRITTEN OFFER FOR SOURCE CODE AND OBJECT CODE

2.1. SOURCE CODE OF THE LIBRARIES

For a period of at least three (3) years from the date on which you obtained
the Software, Individual Entrepreneur Vitalii Talykh will provide, upon written
request, the complete corresponding machine-readable source code of the Qt
libraries and of libgit2 as distributed with the Software.

Both libraries are used WITHOUT MODIFICATION, so the corresponding source is
the unmodified upstream release in each case. It is available for immediate
download at:

Note that the Qt online installer is NOT the corresponding source: it delivers
pre-built binaries. The archive named above is the source.

If either address becomes unavailable, the written offer in this section
remains available and is not affected.

2.2. OBJECT CODE FOR RELINKING

For the same period, and upon written request, Individual Entrepreneur Vitalii
Talykh will provide the object code of the Software in a form suitable for
relinking it with a modified, interface-compatible version of the Qt libraries,
in accordance with section 4(d)(0) of the LGPLv3.

This offer covers OBJECT CODE ONLY. It does not extend to the source code of
the Software, which remains proprietary and confidential.

2.3. HOW TO REQUEST

Please state the exact version of the Software (as shown in the "About"
dialog), the platform, and the component requested. Delivery will be made by
download link. A charge no greater than the reasonable cost of performing the
distribution may be applied where a physical medium is requested.

This offer is valid for anyone who receives this notice.

3. HOW TO REPLACE THE Qt LIBRARIES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The LGPLv3 grants you the right to modify the Qt libraries and to use "The"
with your modified version. The Software is designed so that this is possible.

WINDOWS

  1. Obtain the Qt 6.11.1 sources (see section 2 above).
  2. Build Qt as SHARED libraries with the MSVC 2022 x64 toolchain, preserving
     binary compatibility of the Qt 6.11 ABI.
  3. Locate the installation directory of "The" (by default
     C:\Program Files\The).
  4. Replace the relevant Qt6*.dll files, and the contents of the platforms\,
     imageformats\, tls\, styles\, iconengines\, networkinformation\ and
     generic\ subdirectories, with your own builds. Writing to the installation
     directory requires administrator rights.
  5. Start the application.


macOS

  1. Obtain and build the Qt 6.11.1 sources as shared frameworks for the target
     architecture.
  2. Replace the frameworks inside The.app/Contents/Frameworks.
  3. Re-sign the bundle with your own certificate, or remove the quarantine
     attribute:
         xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/The.app
  4. Start the application.

IF RELINKING IS REQUIRED

  Should interface changes make simple replacement insufficient, request the
  object code of "The" under section 2.2 above. You will receive the compiled
  objects and the linker inputs necessary to produce a new executable against
  your modified Qt.

SUPPORT

  A modified build is not supported by the Rights Holder, and the disclaimers
  in the End User License Agreement apply. This does not limit your rights
  under the LGPLv3.

1. ЧТО ИСПОЛЬЗУЕТ ПРОГРАММА

Программа «The» (далее — «Программа») включает инструментарий Qt версии 6.11.1,
используемый на условиях Стандартной общественной лицензии ограниченного
применения GNU версии 3 («LGPLv3»), а также библиотеку libgit2 версии 1.9.3,
используемую на условиях Стандартной общественной лицензии GNU версии 2 с
исключением о связывании.

Qt подключается ДИНАМИЧЕСКИ. Разделяемые библиотеки Qt распространяются в виде
отдельных незашифрованных файлов, расположенных рядом с исполняемым файлом
приложения, и могут быть вами заменены.

Полный перечень компонентов третьих лиц, распространяемых с Программой, вместе
с их лицензиями приведён в прилагаемом файле THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES. Полные тексты
лицензий находятся в каталоге «licenses» настоящего дистрибутива, включая
тексты LGPLv3 и GPLv3, которую она инкорпорирует по ссылке.

2. ПИСЬМЕННОЕ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЕ О ПРЕДОСТАВЛЕНИИ ИСХОДНОГО И ОБЪЕКТНОГО КОДА

2.1. ИСХОДНЫЙ КОД БИБЛИОТЕК

В течение не менее трёх (3) лет с даты получения вами Программы Индивидуальный
предприниматель Виталий Талых по письменному запросу предоставит полный
соответствующий машиночитаемый исходный код библиотек Qt и libgit2 в том виде,
в каком они распространяются с Программой.

Обе библиотеки используются БЕЗ ИЗМЕНЕНИЙ, поэтому соответствующим исходным
кодом в каждом случае является неизменённый выпуск разработчика. Он доступен
для немедленной загрузки по адресам:

Обращаем внимание: онлайн-установщик Qt НЕ является соответствующим исходным
кодом — он предоставляет заранее собранные двоичные файлы. Соответствующим
исходным кодом является указанный выше архив.

Если какой-либо из адресов станет недоступен, изложенное в настоящем разделе
письменное предложение сохраняет силу и не затрагивается.

2.2. ОБЪЕКТНЫЙ КОД ДЛЯ ПЕРЕЛИНКОВКИ

В течение того же срока и по письменному запросу Индивидуальный предприниматель
Виталий Талых предоставит объектный код Программы в форме, пригодной для её
повторной компоновки с модифицированной и совместимой по интерфейсу версией
библиотек Qt, в соответствии с пунктом 4(d)(0) LGPLv3.

Настоящее предложение распространяется ИСКЛЮЧИТЕЛЬНО НА ОБЪЕКТНЫЙ КОД. Оно не
распространяется на исходный код Программы, который остаётся проприетарным и
конфиденциальным.

2.3. ПОРЯДОК ОБРАЩЕНИЯ

Письменный запрос направляется по адресу:

В запросе просим указать точную версию Программы (отображается в диалоге
«О программе»), платформу и запрашиваемый компонент. Передача осуществляется
посредством ссылки для загрузки. При запросе передачи на физическом носителе
может взиматься плата, не превышающая разумных расходов на такую передачу.

Настоящее предложение действительно для любого лица, получившего данное
уведомление.

3. КАК ЗАМЕНИТЬ БИБЛИОТЕКИ Qt
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LGPLv3 предоставляет вам право модифицировать библиотеки Qt и использовать
«The» с вашей модифицированной версией. Программа спроектирована так, чтобы это
было возможно.

WINDOWS

  1. Получите исходный код Qt 6.11.1 (см. раздел 2 выше).
  2. Соберите Qt как РАЗДЕЛЯЕМЫЕ библиотеки с помощью набора инструментов
     MSVC 2022 x64, сохранив двоичную совместимость с ABI Qt 6.11.
  3. Откройте каталог установки «The» (по умолчанию C:\Program Files\The).
  4. Замените соответствующие файлы Qt6*.dll, а также содержимое подкаталогов
     platforms\, imageformats\, tls\, styles\, iconengines\,
     networkinformation\ и generic\ на собственные сборки. Запись в каталог
     установки требует прав администратора.
  5. Запустите приложение.


macOS

  1. Получите и соберите исходный код Qt 6.11.1 в виде разделяемых фреймворков
     для целевой архитектуры.
  2. Замените фреймворки внутри The.app/Contents/Frameworks.
  3. Подпишите пакет собственным сертификатом либо снимите атрибут карантина:
         xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/The.app
  4. Запустите приложение.

ЕСЛИ ТРЕБУЕТСЯ ПОВТОРНАЯ КОМПОНОВКА

  Если изменения интерфейса делают простую замену недостаточной, запросите
  объектный код «The» согласно пункту 2.2 выше. Вы получите скомпилированные
  объектные файлы и входные данные компоновщика, необходимые для получения
  нового исполняемого файла с вашей модифицированной Qt.

ПОДДЕРЖКА

  Модифицированная сборка не поддерживается Правообладателем; применяются
  оговорки об отказе от гарантий, содержащиеся в Лицензионном соглашении с
  конечным пользователем. Настоящее положение не ограничивает ваших прав по
  LGPLv3.
