This page exists precisely so that planned work cannot be mistaken for finished work. Nothing listed below works in 0.4.3. There are no dates and no prices: the moment they exist, they will appear here.
after the public release
| Direction | What is intended | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Wider LSP | Go-to-definition, hover, completion, rename. Today only C/C++ diagnostics work over LSP. | planned |
| More highlighting languages | Extending the set of tree-sitter grammars beyond C, C++, Go, JavaScript and Python. | planned |
| Diff and merge modes | Full conflict resolution and three-way merge. Today there is side-by-side diff and per-hunk staging. | planned |
| WASM sandbox | Isolation for third-party plugins: foreign code does not get full access to the process. | planned |
| Plugin store | A catalogue, one-step installation and licensing for third-party extensions. | planned |
| Pro model | A subscription or perpetual paid tier. The core and the bundled plugins stay free; there are no prices yet. | planned |
what is not here
We do not publish directions where there is neither a decision nor an estimate: a Linux build, mobile versions, collaborative editing. A missing item here means exactly that — no decision, not a refusal.
how to read this page
“Planned” means: the direction is considered necessary, work may not have started, no dates are assigned. If a specific feature matters to you, watch the changelog — it shows the real pace.
